Reel 1 Up Fish & Dive offers a vast array of scuba diving trips to the Gulf of Mexico. Temperatures in the Gulf vary from sixty degrees in December and reach as high as ninety degrees in August. Visibility can be as low as five feet when we have severe weather but reaches an average of fifty foot or better most of the year at many of our sites.
Dive trips are offered only to certified divers, of which we recommend they carry a current in water dive insurance policy. Policies of this nature can be purchased from companies like DAN or Dive Assure. We also offer a Discover Scuba Diving intro class for non certified divers who would like to experience scuba diving without getting certified.
Rental gear and tanks are available for your convenience from our full service PADI Dive Center, Cruise Fish Dive located, in Bonita Springs. If you prefer diving with a guide, we have several PADI Instructors on staff ready to help. Please notify us when booking your trip so we may have one available to you at the time of your dive.
Recreational dive trips will visit reefs both artificial and natural, ledges, springs and wrecks in Collier and Lee County waters out to 30 miles. Spearfishing trips will visit Lee County waters out to nine miles. If you are not a certified diver but are interested in becoming certified, we offer all PADI certifications.
Reel 1 Up offers certification programs from PADI with from private to group lessons and or online training. After your course work is complete, Reel 1 Up will take you out with one of our dive instructors to complete your open water dives.
